Multan Customs Intelligence Additional Director Nisar visits DG Khan Office

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Additional Director Nisar Ahmad has visited Dera Ghazi Khan in order to check anti-smuggling performance of the officials and their attendance.

During his visit, the additional collector verified the attendance of the staff and visited different check post of customs in DG Khan. He has directed the teams to increase the vigilance in order to curb smuggling attempts. He also said that routes used by smugglers should be strictly monitored, besides directing them to conduct patrolling in the area of Koh-e-Suleman range to intercept the non-duty paid vehicles.

It is important to mention here that Customs Intelligence impounded two vehicles including Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Corolla X from Koh-e Suleman mountains few days ago during anti-smuggling operations.

It may also mention here that Dera Ghazi Khan and Sadiqabad regions fall under the jurisdiction of Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation.
