Multan Customs Intelligence impounds Prado jeep worth Rs 2.5m

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence Field Investigation Unit (FTO) Sadiqabad impounded a non-duty paid jeep worth Rs 2.5 million during a routine activity on Wednesday.

According to the details, the customs officials intercepted a Prado jeep and asked the driver to show the documents showing legal import of the vehicle.

After checking, the documents were found faked so the customs officials seized the jeep under the Customs Act 1969 and registered a case against the owner.

The expected value of confiscated Prado jeep is Rs 2.5 million and it has been arrived at the regional headquarter of Customs Intelligence located in Multan.
