Multan Customs Intelligence impounds Suzuki Swift worth Rs 1m

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation region has impounded a non-duty paid car worth Rs 1 million in an operation.

As per details, Sadiqabad Field Investigation Unit (FIU) of Customs Intelligence intercepted an imported Suzuki Swift car during routine checking.

The intelligence team asked the driver to produce the documents showing legal import of the vehicle but he could not produce such documents, consequently the unit took the car into its customs under the Customs Act, 1969.
