Multan Customs Intelligence seizes car worth Rs 1.5 million

MULTAN: Multan Customs intelligence has seized a non-duty paid car worth Rs 1.5 million during a road checking here.

Sources told Customs Today that the customs officials received secret information that a non-customs paid Toyota Corolla car bearing registration number DGA- 540 is plying on roads in Multan.

Soon after receiving the information, a customs team started examining documents of vehicles. The customs intercepted a Toyota Corolla car and asked its driver to produce legal documents regarding the possession of vehicle but he failed to provide and relevant documents.

After his failure, the Customs team seized the vehicle and registered a case against its owner.
