MULTAN: The Customs authorities deputed at Multan International Airport along with Anti Narcotics Force team have arrested a passenger who was trying to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia.
A team of Customs Preventive searched the luggage of a passenger who was identified as Muhammad Saqlain and is a resident of Sargodha . The passenger was carrying 1,200 grams heroin and he was taken into examination counter by Customs and Anti-Narcotics teams. The drug was tactfully hidden in the secret portions of the luggage.
The Anti –Narcotics Force team arrested the passenger on charges of carrying heroin and lodged the first information report. Further investigations are in process.
