Multan Customs to hold auction of confiscated vehicles & goods on November 29

MULTAN: Auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods will be held on 29th November (Wednesday) in Multan Dry Port.

The Model of Customs Collectorate is going to hold auction of those confiscated vehicles and goods which were seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization in different actions. Auction of Multan Customs will be held in the Multan Dry Port near Sher Shah Bypass. Almost six vehicles of different models will be presented in the auction including Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Toyota Carina, Suzuki Alto, Toyota, Suzuki Sierra Land Cruiser Cygnus and Suzuki Jimmy. All these six Offered vehicles for auction were non-customs paid.

There were 41 various miscellaneous lots of goods and articles including electronics ,auto parts and others in the auction. Multan Customs has offered huge quantity of miscellaneous goods in the auction including foreign Origin DPI bearing of 19 cartons. Slightly used and old tyres of HTV and LTV of different brands were also offered in auction. Customs will present foreign origin seized cigarettes in the auction.

Few electronics products containing old and used compressors, electric iron, used DVD players, various digital satellite receiver HD, digital video broadcasting and Sony digital HD video camera recorder HDV. Dental Surgeon tools, plastic valve, dry dates and artificial jewellery with different packing material.

Foreign origin Indian art silk cloth seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization of 450 kilograms and huge quantities of curtain cloth are also accessible in auction. As much as 60,000 liters of confiscated mineral spirit, 24,000 liters bunker fuel, 10,000 liters of HSD POL products, (mixture of light and heavy hydrocarbon fractions) of 5000 liters and 56,000 liters of furnace oil and others 10 will also be presented for auction.

Oil marketing companies are allowed to participate in the bid of HSD auction. Auto scrap of dismantled vehicles of 2500 kilograms was also presented in the auction.

Huge quantity of seized cell phones of different brands will be presented in the auction and only successful bidder will furnish PTA approval certificate for mobile phones before the delivery of hand sets.

The auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous articles will be supervised by Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram along with other staff of Multan Customs at Multan Dry Port Sher Shah Bypass
