Multan RTO collects Rs 70.26m from 737 tax returns filed under VTCS‏

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 70.26 million from 737 tax returns filed under Voluntarily Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS).

The Federal Board of Revenue had launched the scheme to encourage non-filers to become filers in the country. The Regional Tax Office Multan has not collected any tax return under the volunteer tax compliance scheme during last three days.

Regional Tax Office authorities are optimistic that they will collect more tax returns through VTCS in near future.
