MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) has collected 10 returns from non-filers of worth one million after the introduction of tax amnesty scheme across the country.
Sources told Customs Today that all the 10 tax filers belonged to Sahiwal Zone and RTO Multan have collected almost Rs one million taxes from these filers under this scheme. The RTO Multan have also formed 14 various teams for taxpayers to collect more taxes from non-filers through this scheme to make this scheme successful.
Regional Tax Office Multan is running massive campaign all over region for the success of tax amnesty scheme to bring the non-filers under tax net.
Economic contributions of the non –filers will be increased with the passage of time. FBR has directed RTOs to shape out plan for the accomplishment of tax amnesty scheme that more non-filers could file their tax returns through this scheme.
