Multan RTO receives 726 tax returns of Rs 69.65m under VTCS ‏

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office (RTO) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected Rs 69.65 million taxes under the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) so far.

The Regional Tax Office Multan is making efforts for the collection of  maximum tax returns through tax amnesty scheme launched for non-filers to become filers. After launching of this voluntary tax compliance scheme, the FBR encourages non-filers to file tax returns by giving them attractive incentives through this scheme.

The Regional Tax Office faced hurdles in the start of VTCS but with the passage of time business community started filing tax returns through this scheme .Now Regional Tax Office Multan have collected 726 tax returns under VTCS and still expecting more tax returns under this scheme in the upcoming days. The Regional Tax Office Multan is very optimistic about the further collection due to facilities offered by FBR in this scheme.
