Multan’s 63,000 farmers to be benefited from PM relief package

MULTAN: As many as 63,000 small farmers of Multan would benefit from the Prime Minister relief package.

Additional District Collector (ADC) Manzar Javed, said this while talking to APP. He said the revenue department had prepared lists of 63,000 farmers across the district through a survey. He said lists had been sent to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

He said payment of cash among farmers would be started soon and centres would also be set up at tehsil level. He said assistant commissioners would monitor the process. He said duties would also be assigned to tehsildars, patwaris and other staff during cash disbursement process while NADRA would also verify CNICs of farmers on the spot at centres.
