MUMBAI: The Mumbai police have seized nearly 750 kilogram of drugs worth of Rs 3.3 crore and arrested 17,268 persons in 2014, according to the data given by the Anti Narcotics Cell here the other day.
“We have devised a plan to act only on specific information that we receive,” S. Rane, senior police inspector with the west region of the police’s Anti Narcotics Cell told Customs Today. Officers said that they will specifically target open spaces like the beaches.
Party drugs such as cocaine and LSDs have been extremely popular in 2014.
