Murder or suicide: Customs Intelligence inspector’s death case not settled yet

ISLAMABAD: Investigators are still unable to settle the alleged suicide case of a Customs Intelligence and Investigation Islamabad Inspector Muzammal Kiyani as post-mortem report has not been issued so far.

Talking to Customs Today, colleagues of Kiyani said that it was hard to believe that he committed suicide because he had no tension or issue to take such an extreme step. They are terming it as a murder case.

On the other hand, police have not investigated many aspects that need to be explored even after decoding the phone calls record but no major development was made in the case, they added.

However, Investigation Inspector Ishaq has said that chemical examination report of the body was not received by the department, adding that after the report police will be able to investigate the other aspects.

He said that police were collecting the record of the cases to find any clue.
