NAB arrests three accused involved in corruption, kickbacks

PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) arrested Muhammad Ilyas Patwari, Raza Shah son of Zahir Shah and Muhammad Idrees who are involved in corruption and kickbacks commission in acquisition of 500 kanal land for Worker Welfare Board at Mouza Shahi Bala district Peshawar.

As per details Muhammad Ilyas Patwari of Mouza Shahi Bala, Peshawar in connivance with others prepared fabricated “Aust Yaksala”. Afterwards, he presented fraudulent mutation papers with exorbitant rates to the price negotiation committee. Accused Raza Shah along with accused Muhammad Idrees worked in connivance with officials of revenue department, WWB and others. They received more than Rs 50 million as kickbacks in which commission and embezzled the same.
