NAB conducts inspection of govt wheat stock at flour mills in Ghotki

HYDERABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB-Sukkur) inspected the government wheat stock kept at several flour mills in district Ghotki.

According to press release, the inspection of the stock was carried out on complaints of illegal utilization of government wheat by some flour mills.

During the inspection it was found that few flour mills had replaced the old stock with fresh one without approval and payment to government.

It was also found that one of the flour mills had used 70,000 bags of government wheat which were stored at the warehouse of the mill without any approval while some of the mills had utilized wheat stock and replaced the same with fresh wheat illegally.
