NAB KPK arrests director of Provincial Housing Authority over corruption

PESHAWAR: NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested accused Salauddin, serving director (BPS-19) of Provincial Housing Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar. He is allegedly involved in accumulating assets beyond known sources of income worth millions of rupees.

As per details, the matter was brought into the notice of NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Authorities. Taking cognizance of the matter inquiry was authorized to ascertain the real facts and collect requisite evidence regarding moveable and immovable properties owned, controlled and possessed by the accused in his own name and in the name of his dependents.

During inquiry it was revealed that the accused during his service in Provincial Housing Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar has accumulated the following huge assets disproportionate to his known legal sources of income included three plots each 1 kanal at Regi Model Town, Peshawar,16 marla plot at MPCH Islamabad, one kanal plot at Phase-II Hayatabad Peshawar, double story Bunglow at Phase-7 Hayatabad Peshawar,08 marla plot in Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad, one Corolla car model 2004,one Corolla car model 2012, luxury Banglow at Phase -2 Hayatabad, Peshawar, additionally, the accused made huge unexplained transactions in the bank accounts.

NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa actively pursuing the case and more properties are expected to be unearthed. The accused will be produced before the accountability court for obtaining his physical remand into NAB custody.
