NAB Multan grills engineer on corruption charges

MULTAN: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Multan grilled agriculture engineer Abdul Malik Khan on charge of corruption in NAB office here on Friday.

According to details, agriculture engineer Abdul Malik Khan, who belongs to Dera Ghazi Khan, was summoned on the plea of complainant along with documentary proofs at the NAB office Multan Region.

The corruption complaint was lodged by National Labour Alliance Chairman Ghazi Ahmed Hassan in NAB Multan Region, stating that Abdul Malik Khan was posted in Dera Ghazi Khan but he did not attend his office regularly. He said that the accused attended his office only four days in May but he claimed 22 days visit expenses on his government vehicle FDL-4939 and received thousands of rupees travelling allowance in that month.

The complainant levelled nine corruption charges against the agriculture engineer, including financial corruption and theft of valuable spare parts from the agriculture office.
