NAB Work & Family Survey: 25pc couples report sharing equal primary caring responsibility

Sydney: The NAB Work & Family Survey revealed modern Australian family life is evolving with men showing a stronger desire to spend more time looking after their children.

When dads were asked about spending more time with their children, on balance: 60 per cent said they would like to spend more time with them; 45 per cent would like to play a greater role in caring for them, rather than working full-time; and 25 per cent of couples report sharing equal primary caring responsibility.
