National economy improving due to govt’s effective strategy: Baligh

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Engr Muhammad Baligh ur Rahman on Friday said that the national economy was improving due to effective strategy of the incumbent government.

While concluding the debate on an adjournment motion in Senate, he said that the fake information, fact and figures about the foreign debts were being spread.

He said that the economy of the country is improving and the GDP growth is also increasing. During the previous year the GDP growth remained 5.28 percent while in the years 2017-18 it would improve further.

The financial deficit has been decreased; he said adding that federal expenditures in PSDP are 18 percent. He said that 21 percent amount was being utilized on the defense.

The government was fulfilling its responsibility by maintaining the law and order situation in the country, he said. He said that business activities are increasing in the country which will make economy of the country more strong and vivid.
