KARACHI: Electricity consumers got another shock as Nepra approved increase in the price of electricity for Karachi by Rs 4.45 per unit.
According to Nepra, the approval of the increase in electricity prices was given in the context of the first quarter adjustment of the last financial year.
Additional collections from K-Electric customers will be made in October and November 2023.
Nepra approved the increase on the request of the federal government. The increase will be implemented after the notification issued by the federal government.
