New team of Islamabad customs officers generates Rs210.61m all duties and taxes in 11 days

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad has received Rs210.61million of all duties and taxes during 1st to 11th of September Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

According to details explained by Saeed Khan Jadoon, Collector MCC Islamabad, that collectorate formed a new team of customs officers and staff to meet the assigned targets for the 1st quarter (July to September) FY17-18. During above said period, the collectorate earned Rs53.36million of Customs Duty (CD).
The Collector told CT that, during initial 11 days of current month, the collectorate generated Rs108.81million of Sales Tax (ST) while MCC Islamabad collected Rs48.42million of Income Tax (IT) whereas it earned Rs0.02million of Federal Excise Duty (FED).
