WELLINGTON: The NZ fell to near 2-week lows of 88.29 against the yen and 1.5349 against the euro, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 88.93 and 1.5245, respectively.
Against the Australian dollar, the kiwi dropped to a 1-week low of 1.0731 from yesterday’s closing value of 1.0646.
The kiwi edged down to 0.7137 against the US dollar, from yesterday’s closing value of 0.7175.
If the kiwi extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 87.00 against the yen, 1.58 against the euro, 1.09 against the aussie and 0.70 against the greenback.
