Karachi: The Pakistani rupee continued its losing spree against the US dollar both in interbank and open market on Friday.
As per the local currency market, the US dollar gained 25 paisas in open market to be traded at 103.95 and 5 paisas in interbank to be sold at 102.05.
Experts said the government does not want to lose the credit it gained from 10 per cent appreciation of the rupee against the US dollar last year. However, the dollar slowly overpowered the local currency, crossing Rs102 in the interbank and reaching close to Rs104 in the open market.
