Non-duty paid Honda Civic impounded

LAHORE: Customs Intelligence & Investigation Lahore has seized non-customs paid Hoda Civic AAR 572 worth millions of rupees.

The official sources told Customs Today that on directions of Deputy Director Ali Zeb Khan  Anti-Smuggling team seized the above mention vehicle in Gulberg area.  The sources said that the vehicle was being used by the driver on Islamabad registration number.

It was revealed that the driver when failed to produce the required clearance documents flee away from the scene.

The customs I&I after registering a case have started further investigations and also initiated a number of raids to arrest the owner of the vehicle.

It is necessary to mention here that Customs Intelligence team expedited their efforts to impound non duty paid vehicles which are plying on the roads. The sources said that they are directed to adopt zero tolerance policy towards owners of non duty paid vehicles.
