Objections on tax collection: Punjab audit deptt seeks record from Excise Multan for scrutiny

‏MULTAN: Punjab Audit Department seeks reply from Multan Excise and Taxation Department on objections found during scrutiny of record.

According to details, Punjab Audit Department has surfaced certain objections in tax collection of Motor and Professional branch of Multan during audit of record. Excise and Taxation Department has not removed objections of Audit department so far.

Audit Department has given its few observations during record examination which needs further scrutiny of documents to conclude audit of Excise and Taxation Department Multan Division.

Excise and Taxation Department Multan has still not removed raised objections of Audit Department of Punjab and now they have pursuing record of professional tax and motor branch to further inspection.

Sources told Customs Today that record will be provided very soon to Audit Department in order to fulfill their necessary requirements for audit process.
