KARACHI: The bearish trend started the new trading week as the Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark KSE-100 index Monday dropped 96.55 points to drop to 32863.72 points level with the total volume of 6,351,300 shares.
On Friday, the KSE-100 index down 0.36 per cent, losing 119.10 points to drop to 32960.27 points level at closing. The market recorded the highest trading level of 33132.67 points and lowest level of 32820.28 points, with the total volume of 81,769,430 shares, having Rs5,387,672,148 value. As many as 323 companies were active; of which 138 advanced, 172 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
