BUDAPEST: More than 150 people registered and 50 participated in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange program, organizing partner Tenderauditor told Hungarian news agency MTI today.
The program originally launched in 2009 gives entrepreneurs who intend to start a business or have recently started one the chance to learn from experienced owners of small businesses in other European Union countries.
Most Hungarian participants work in the construction, media, education, consulting or tourism sectors. Popular destinations include the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain and France, said Tenderauditor.
The stay abroad is partially funded by the EU and the program is run locally by business support organizations which match new and host entrepreneurs.
