Pak Customs finalises its arrangements to mark Int’l Customs Day

KARACHI: The Pakistan Customs has finalized all its arrangement in order to mark “World International Customs Day” today.

According to details, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Muhammad Nisar Ali Khan and Member Customs Nasir Masroor Ahmed will witness the flag hoisting ceremony at Custom House-Karachi at 9am.

After the flag hoisting ceremony, a tableau by the children is to be presented to mark the “World International Customs Day”.

Subsequently, a ceremony to burn the seized contraband items and to eradicate the foreign smuggled liquor bottles at Customs Colony located at Mauripur Road.

The Chief Collector-Enforcement (South) Zahid Khokhar, Collector Customs-Preventive Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda and other officers of Maritime Security Agency (MSA), Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) and others would also participated in the ceremony.
