KARACHI: The Pakistan rupee Monday depreciated against the US dollar in open market.
As per the local currency market, the greenback gained 20 paisas in cash-free market to be traded at 104.75 and lost 8 paisas in interbank to be sold at 104.30. On Friday, the rupee picked up four paisas for buying and five paisas for selling as the dollar ended the day at Rs104.37 and Rs104.38 in interbank. The rupee also stayed firm in the open market amid lacklustre trading. The rupee managed to pick up five paisas, which sent the dollar down to Rs104.35 and Rs104.55 for the day.
