KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday depreciated against dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar gained 15 paisas in open market for buying at 106.40 and for selling at 106.70, while in interbank the dollar remained unchanged for buying at 104.80 and for selling at 105. On Thursday, the dollar started the day’s thin trading at Rs 104.75 for buying, with 05 paisas variation in value closed at Rs 104.80 for buying and Rs 105 for selling in interbank.
In open market, the dollar remained plus against the rupee. It closed at Rs 106.35 for buying after gaining 10 paisas in value and stood at Rs 106.55 for selling.
