KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Monday depreciated in open market, but remained unchanged in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar gained 20 paisas in open market for buying at 105.30 and for selling at 105.55, while it remained unchanged in interbank for buying at 104.20 and for selling at 104.40. On Friday, the rupee ended slightly higher in the open currency market and closed at Rs 105.10 for buying and Rs 105.35 for selling, rising ten paisas from previous session’s level. In interbank, the US dollar closed flat against the rupee in the interbank market because demand by importers remained subdued. The greenback closed at Rs 104.20 for buying and Rs 104.40 for selling.
