KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday gained some value against the US dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.
According to the local money market, the dollar lost five paisas in open market for buying at 106.20 and for selling at 106.50, while it remained unchanged in interbank for buying at 104.45 and for selling at 104.65. On Thursday, the US currency closed flat in value versus rupee in interbank, however, edged higher versus domestic unit in open market. The dollar closed at Rs 106.25 for buying and Rs 106.55 for selling in the open market. The greenback remained flat at Rs 104.45 for buying and closed at Rs 104.65 for selling in interbank.
