KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Monday gained value against dollar in open market and interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 10 paisas in open market for buying at 111.40 and for selling at 111.70, while it shed five paisa in interbank for buying at 110.30 and for selling at 110.50.
On Friday, the rupee ended firm against the dollar and closed the week flat at Rs110.55 amid dull trading activity in interbank. In the open market, the rupee staged a rebound against the dollar. The rupee shed ten paisa that enabled the dollar to rise to Rs111.80.
