KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Thursday gained value against the US dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 10 paisas in open market for buying at Rs118.30 and for selling at Rs 118.85 for selling, while it remained firm in interbank for buying at Rs 115.55 and for selling at Rs 115.75.
On Wednesday, the greenback remained firm in interbank and open market against domestic unit, treasurers and currency dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 115.50 for buying, with 05 paisas upward variation it remained firm and closed at Rs 115.55 for buying and Rs 115.75 for selling in interbank.
In open market, the dollar remained firm versus rupee, dealers said. It started the day’s trading at Rs 118.30 for buying and closed at Rs 118.40 for buying after gaining 10 paisas in value and stood at Rs 118.95 for selling.
