KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Monday strengthened against the US dollar both in interbank and open market.
As per the local currency market, the dollar lost 15 paisas in open market for buying 105.20 and for selling at 105.45, while in interbank, it lost 10 pasisas in interbank for buying at 104.30 and for selling at 104.50. On Friday, the greenback remained firm in value against the rupee as it began the trading at Rs 105.30 for buying and closed at Rs 105.35 for buying with 05 paisas change and closed at Rs 105.60 for selling in open market. The American currency closed flat in value against the rupee in the interbank market as it commenced the trading at Rs 104.40 for buying and with no variation in value closed at Rs 104.40 for buying and Rs 104.60 for selling.
