KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Wednesday gained some value against the US currency in open market and remained firm in interbank.
As per the local money market, the greenback added five paisas in open market for buying at 106.25 and for selling at 106.50, while in interbank, it remained unchanged for buying at 104.30 and for selling at 104.50. On Tuesday, The dollar remained unchanged against the rupee and closed at Rs 104.30 for buying and Rs 104.50 for selling in interbank. In open market, the dollar remained down in value following dull demand from corporate and private sector in interbank. The dollar closed at Rs 106.20 for buying and Rs 106.45 for selling in the open market against rupee. It shed 05 paisas.
