KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee slightly strengthened against dollar in open market and remained firm in interbank.
As per the local currency market, the dollar lost five paisas in open market for selling at 106.15 and remained unchanged in interbank for selling at 104.50. On Monday, the dollar closed firm in the interbank market against rupee on improved demand. The dollar remained high to close at Rs 104.30 for buying and Rs 104.50 for selling with 10 paisas increase compared to previous closing. In open market, the dollar closed flat in the open currency market on dull demand. The greenback closed at Rs 105.95 for buying and Rs 106.20 for selling in the open market.
