KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee Friday strengthened against the US dollar in open market and remained unchanged in interbank.
According to the local money market, the dollar lost five paisas in open market for buying at 106.15 and for selling at 106.40, while in interbank, it remained firm for buying at 104.30 and for selling at 104.50. On Thursday, the greenback ended on flat term in value versus rupee on back of corporate sector’s dull interest for dollar in interbank market. The dollar closed at Rs 104.30 for buying and Rs 104.50 for selling in interbank. The dollar shed 05 paisas and closed at Rs 106.20 for buying and Rs 106.46 for selling in the open market.
