KARACHI: The Pakistani currency Thursday gained showed resistance against the US dollar and gained value in cash-free markets.
According to the local currency market, the US dollar lost 10 paisas in open market to be sold at 104.65 and remained unchanged in interbank at 103.80. On Wednesday, the greenback gained another 10 pasias to reach 104.75 in open market, however, it lost 30 paisas in interbank to be traded at 103.80.
Experts are of the view that the decrease in the value of rupee under the current circumstances will cause inflation in the country.
