KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee shed value against the US dollar in open market, while it strengthened in interbank on Friday, the last trading day.
As per the local currency market, the greenback gained 10 paisas in open market to reach 102.95 and lost 10 paisas in interbank to drop to 101.70. On Thursday, the dollar closed flat in value against the rupee in the interbank market as it was traded at Rs101.60 for buying and Rs101.80 for selling. The dollar was sold at Rs102.60 for buying after no change and closed at Rs 102.85 for selling in open market.
