KARACHI: The Pakistani rupee on Wednesday strengthened against the US dollar in open market and remained unchanged in interbank.
As per the local money market, the dollar lost 35 paisas for buying at Rs138.75 and Re1.05 for selling at Rs139.25 in open market. In interbank, the greenback closed firm for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139.
On Monday, the US currency shed 80 paisas in open market for buying at Rs139.10 and 10 paisas for selling at Rs140.30, while it closed firm in interbank for buying at Rs138.50 and for selling at Rs139.
