KARACHI: The Pakistan Coast Guards have foiled a bid to leave the country without having valid documents. The total number of arrested suspects is 95 that include 39 Afghan nationals and 56 Pakistanis.
A spokesman of Pakistan Coast Guards Major Zafar Ahmed told Customs Today that the coast guards apprehended the suspects during spot checking at Jewani Jetty and Shah Jahan roads check posts near Gwadar, Balochistan.
These individuals were proceeding to Iran without having any legal travel documents and were poised to using sea route, he added.
These suspects have been detained by the coast guards while further investigations are underway, Major Zafar concluded.
