Pakistan Customs better equipped than ever to deal with challenges: Chief Collector North Wasif Memon

ISLAMABAD: Collector Seema Raza Bokhari said that Pakistan Customs facilitate the legitimate trade and the effective controls of borders.

The Collectorate  arranged a function at Islamabad Dry port where Chief Collector North Wasif Ali Memon was the chief guest while senior serving and retired officers of customs along with officers of other departments we’re participated.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Collector North Wasif Memon congratulated officers and officials of Pakistan Customs on the International Customs Day, he said that it gives him pleasure that Pakistan Customs this year is better equipped than ever to deal with challenges to achieve the targets of safe and smooth border movement of goods, people and means of transport thus a reduction of unfair competition in local communities and opening up of opportunities for marginalized communities to get easy access to new markets.

On this occasion while welcoming the guests Collector Seema Raza Bokhari underlined the importance of Customs performance as saying that facilitation of legitimate trade and the effective controls of borders through enforcement if regulatory framework.
