ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Customs has thwarted a bid to smuggle smartphones and tabs into Pakistan.
Customs officials at Benazir International Airport Islamabad seized smuggled mobiles worth Rs 2 million and lodged an FIR against accused Imran Haider who tried to smuggle imported mobiles and tabs through flight No TG 349 taking advantage of green channel facility.
Mobiles taken into custody by the officials include 18 S5 Galaxy, 2 iPhone 6 and 7 tabs.
