Pakistan Customs, UNODC to hold joint seminar today

KARACHI: Pakistan Customs Directorate General of Training & Research and the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) are holding a joint seminar today (Tuesday) at the Old Customs House, Karachi.

The participants from both sides will present their views on the selected topic ‘Enhancing the Law Enforcement Knowledge and Skills’ in the seminar.

Provincial Minister Nisar Khuhro will be the chief guest on the occasion, while director generals of Pakistan Coast Guard and Maritime Security Agency and drug liaison officers from different countries will also attend the seminar.

The UNODC was established to assist the UN in better addressing a coordinated, comprehensive response to the interrelated issues of illicit trafficking in and abuse of drugs, crime prevention and criminal justice, international terrorism, and political corruption.
