LAHORE: Pakistan has exported items worth Rs 413 million to India in the first 15 days of April, Rs 84 million more than the same period of March.
As per the details, Pakistan exported items worth Rs 329 million to India through Wagha border trade route during the first 15 days of March 2015.
As per the documents available with Customs Today, Pakistan exported fruits, salt, cement, gypsum, glass, aluminium ores, woven fabrics, scrap of rubber, seeds, cement, white cement, carbonated items and seeds etc.
Pakistan exported 1,929 metric tonnes of fruits (HS Code 804-1020) to India worth Rs 91 million. On the other hand, perfumery plants and plant seeds worth Rs 9 million and vegetable extracts and saps have also been exported.
According to details, Pakistan exported 37,525 tonnes of gypsum to India worth Rs 60 million. Pakistan also exported Rs 129 million worth of cement and other relevant items to India during the first 15 days of April. Carbonated items and other relevant items worth Rs 53 million were also part of exports to India.
Besides that, Pakistan also exported Portland cement, aluminous cement, slag cement, super sulphate cement, hydraulic cements and clinker to India in April.
As a whole, Pakistan exported items worth Rs 413 million to India via Wagha border Lahore.
