MULTAN: Shehzad Rana, the director general of TDAP in Punjab, has said that Pakistan Trade Development Authority will establish an office in Bahawalpur to promote import and export in Southern Punjab.
He said that TDAP is making efforts to boost the trade of this region through the promotion of the products manufactured in the area.
Shehzad Rana was addressing the members of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry that Trade Development Authority of Pakistan will put efforts to promote the goods manufactured in the Bahawalpur region by conducting exhibition in the region. Trade Development Authority of Pakistan will focus on the local products produced in the region of Bahawalpur to encourage trade volume of this region.
The business community of the Bahawalpur has complaint the Director General Trade Development Authority of Pakistan about the lack of trade promotion activities in the Bahawalpur region from the TDAP and the exporters from the Bahawalpur face difficulties in the export of their items in various countries.
Shehzad Rana ensured the business community to resolve their issues regarding import, export in Bahawalpur region by providing them more opportunities in the region. He also stresses for the building of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in the Bahawalpur for the addressing of their issues.
