Pakistan’s leather shoes export rises by 25.90pc

KARACHI: The country witnessed 25.90 percent increase in the export of leather shoes. It has also been witnessed that export of canvas shoes increased 8.47 percent.

According to Leather Shoes Industry general secretary, during the first five months of FY 2014-15 the export of leather shoes has reached $45,043,000. During the same period of last fiscal year the export remained $35,777,000. Meanwhile, export of canvas shoes increased from $59,000 to $64000.
