Pakistan’s exports during last FY have shown over 70pc growth

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan s exports during the last fiscal year have shown over 70 percent growth.

According to a report of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the exports during the fiscal year of 2020-2021 remained 2,729 million dollars as compared to 1,599 million dollars in corresponding year.

Meanwhile, State Bank of Pakistan in a tweet said Pakistan s external position is at its strongest and Current Account Deficit fell to only zero point six per cent of GDP.

This is lowest in ten years with exports and remittances at all-time high.

Similarly, foreign exchange reserves rose by five point two billion dollars in last fiscal year to over 17 billion dollars at four and half years high.
