Tax lawyers announce support to LTBA presidential candidate Qamar Zaman

LAHORE: The candidate for President, Lahore Tax Bar Association (LTBA), arranged a meeting with the tax lawyers regarding the LTBA election 2017-18.

All the senior and junior tax lawyers participated in the meeting and announced their support to Qamar Zaman and his party for the coming election of the Lahore Tax Bar Association.

On the occasion, the senior tax lawyers said in their speeches that Qamer Zaman is a professional lawyer and possesses leadership qualities for the representation of the tax lawyers on any forum.

The lawyers are professionals and playing a vital role in strengthening national economy. He urged that under his leadership tax lawyers will continue their efforts to make the national economy better.

He thanked all the participants for attending the party meeting. Shahbaz Saddique, candidate for Vice-President, Abdul Waheed, candidate for General Secretary, Rana Mubashir, candidate for Finance Secretary, Syed Irfan Haider for Joint Secretary and senior lawyers of democrat and Nasim Shah Group participated in the meeting.

Talking to Customs Today exclusively, Qamar Zaman said he has already experienced the representation of tax lawyers and performed as General Secretary of the LTBA. He assured the lawyers of solving their problems on priority.

Answering a question, he said the tax lawyers are putting their efforts in tax collection and betterment of economy. He said the tax lawyers are expecting the FBR to cooperate with them more.
