PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and police nabbed three smugglers in separate crackdowns and seized 40 kilogram charas along with 900 gram of heroin from their possession.
The ANF traced out the accused person at Bacha Khan International Airport when he was traveling to Sharjah from Peshawar via Air Arabia airline. The accused was identified as Muqit-ur-Rehman, a resident of Hangu. The narcotics were concealed in his bag, which were taken out by the ANF officers.
Meanwhile, Hayat Abad Police intercepted à vehicle near check post and recovered huge quantity of narcotics high grade opium and charas from its secret cavities of the motor car. It was bound to be smuggled to Punjab as each packet had written its destination address.
The quantity ranges to almost 40 kg. Police forces took into custody a lady and a boy in both the incidents and started further investigation.
